Christina Sajous and More Join Kirsten Holly Smith to Sing the Hits of Dusty Springfield in Forever Dusty

Complete casting has been announced for the Dusty Springfield bio musical Forever Dusty, and former Broadway.com video blogger Christina Sajous is among the group of actors who will belt the tunes of the classic singer! Written by Kirsten Holly Smith and Jonathan Vankin, and starring Smith in the title role, the musical will begin performances at off-Broadway’s New World Stages on November 11, with an opening night set for November 18.

In addition to Smith and Sajous, Forever Dusty will feature Coleen Sexton (Wicked, Jekyll and Hyde), Benim Foster (Barefoot in the Park), Sean Patrick Hopkins (Angels in America), Ashley Betton (Peep Show) and Tony nominee Jonathan C. Kaplan (Falsettos, Diary of Anne Frank). Sajous has appeared on Broadway in Spider-Man, Turn Off the Dark, American Idiot and Baby It's You.

Forever Dusty tells the compelling and moving story of Springfield’s journey from awkward Catholic schoolgirl to rock legend. Directed by Randal Myler, the musical is filled with some of the '60s most recognizable pop songs including “Son of a Preacher Man,” “You Don’t Have to Say You Love Me,” “The Look of Love” and many others.

The musical will feature set design by Wilson Chin, costume design by Nancy Palmatier, lighting design by Richard DiBella and sound design by Matt Kraus. Michael Thomas Murray will serve as musical director.
